The Honey bees is about 5-15 mm, and lives for about 1-10 months. They are a social insect and live in colonies or swarms. Usually honey bees are classified into 3 different types of honey bees. The first classification is the worker bee; the worker bees is a non reproductive female bee that goes out to collect pollen and nectar from flowers, which is the bee's food. The next group is the queen bee, whose job is to lay eggs in order to create the hives next generation of bees. If the queen is to die the colony will choose another queen and put her on a diet of royal jelly to make her fertile. The queen also produces chemicals to help control the behavior of the rest of the bees. The third group of honey bees is the male drone bee. Hundreds of drones live in the hive in the spring and summer and do a variety of things, but in the winter they are forced out in order to preserve food.
Honey bees are very important to humanity today. They help produce ⅓ of our food, as well as provide us with Honey and and Wax. The commercial use of bee products caused the bee industry to really expand. Our relationship with bees has been long and ongoing, having both positive and negative interactions. We have been there to help the bees, honey bee farmers have mad sure their population thrives in order to continue to get the befits of bees but our relationship with bees is not always good, our pesticides, over use and killing have had a large impact on the bees. We never thought we'd see an impact but today The honey is threatened. This issue was even large enough to get the attention of large corporations such as The Cheerio's company who launched the bring back the bees fundraiser.

I mean honestly. Can you honestly think of the last time you were in a grocery store and made a whose of brand based on how much packaging it had? On the waste it would produce? I can’t.

Think about schools for a moment. Why do we go to school? So we can go to university, and because the government makes us. Why go to university? so we can get a job. Does having a university degree automatically get you a job? Does having a job automatically make you happy and satisfied with life? Simple answer. No. So we’re left with: The government makes us. We just established that the government, for whatever reasons(because I’m sure there are lots of people in powerful positions trying to do the right thing, just not enough of them) are motivated by greed and the need for stuff. Therefore, why is anything they suggest automatically a good idea? Think about the system of grades. Not like, A versus A+ but like grade 1,2, and 3. Why do we have them. Is the most important feature in measuring intelligence how old a person is? So a two year old who knows the alphabet backwards is a genius but a twelve year old whom is developmentally delayed and can’t is a moron, and to be shunned? Don’t we, as a superior species, know better than this?

You know, F*ck the polar bears. Extinction happens my friends, and there is no stopping it. We try too because we are afraid of change and what it will bring. But still, our time on this pant is running out. We don’t have to look far to find examples of the worst case scenarios. mars and venus are two of earth’s possible futures. Will it matter if we’ve cured cancer, stopped HIV, and saved the Panda if we are showered by acid rain at 375 degrees or whatever venus’s temperature is? Answer: NO.
